NHL Awards Handed Out Tonight

The 2003 – 2004 National Hockey League season was officially brought to an end with the NHL Awards banquet held annually in Toronto. This was somewhat of an historic evening as never before had so many of the award nominees played against each other during the Stanley Cup Finals. In the end, few surprises occurred as the awards, on the most part, went to the players most deserving of them. The show was hosted by the CBC’s Ron McLean and included various celebrity appearances by Catriona Le May Doan, Russell Crowe, Jeff Healey and others.
