Leafs Resign Tucker and Klee

Earlier today the Toronto Maple Leafs announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Ken Klee and gritty forward Darcy Tucker. Both players signed multiyear deals; however, the terms of their contracts have not yet been disclosed.

Klee, who was a strong contributor to the Leafs blueline until injuries brought the level of his play down later in the season, will help to maintain a solid defense corps along with Bryan McCabe and a hopefully improved Tomas Kaberle.

Tucker brings several different skills to the game. He is a gritty forward who can put the puck in the net and also act as a “superpest” toward members of the opposing teams. He is a player that is never seen taking a shift, much less a game, off.
